Trees provide many conservation benefits including reduced soil erosion, wildlife habitat improvement, protect water quality, and increased aesthetics.

Our inventory includes a variety of small shrubs, large shrubs/small trees, deciduous trees and conifers (bare root/potted).

In addition to the sale of trees and shrubs, the SWCD staff can provide FREE site designs or species selection assistance based on soil types or conservation practices. Douglas SWCD offers custom services such as tree planting, fabric mulch installation, and tube installation.

Depending on the tree planting and practice, you may be eligible to federal or state cost-share programs to help pay for the associated costs.
